I manage hundreds of workstations at many locations all remotely. Most every user that uses Windows has no administrative access. Sometimes, if they are running poorly written software that uses a local SQL database, I have to either allow them administrative access or be ready to take a call every time their crappy vender decides to do an update.

My solution, for Windows 7 at least, was to create a second administrative user account called, "This is a Virus" and the passwords for these accounts typically fall along the lines of, "InstallVirusNow". So, every time UAC pops up asking them to modify something on their computer, they have to choose the "This is a Virus" user account and type the password "InstallVirusNow". You wouldn't believe how drastically this has cut down on issues on their machines.
